Talk about an arsenal of Latino talent. As of right now, Pantelion Studios has got projects from Eugenio Derbez, Jaime Camil, George Lopez and now Wilmer Valderrama!

The indie production company (which is a partnership between Lionsgate and Televisa) covers television and film. And for Wilmer, they plan to use him in both mediums.

Valderrama signed an exclusive deal that will have him developing and starring in a variety of projects. And Wilmer fans know that he’s quite ambitious behind the scenes, already producing and directing several shorts.

Pantelion exec Paul Presburger seemed very excited to have Valderrama on board, saying:

“Wilmer is a versatile acting and producing talent with strong crossover appeal to mainstream U.S. and Latino audiences. This deal is part of our strategy of continuing to build a roster of Latino talent who will produce and star in mainstream commercial films and TV series that incorporate Latino characters and themes, and resonate with Latino audiences.”
