Bill Murray Body Slams Lee Corso On ESPN's 'College GameDay' Over Florida State, Clemson Pick (VIDEO)

WATCH: Bill Murray Body Slams ESPN Analyst

There were two key takeaways from the latest edition of ESPN's "College GameDay."

1) ESPN analyst Lee Corso is possibly unaware of -- or perhaps just not particularly concerned with -- the debate over Native American mascots and iconography in sports.

2) Bill Murray is definitely the best.

With ESPN's traveling college football pre-game program set up at Clemson University, Murray dropped by to make his pick for the Top 5 game between the No. 3 Clemson Tigers and No. 5 Florida State Seminoles set for Saturday night. Sporting a purple pork pie hat and a tie-dye Piggly Wiggly T-shirt, Murray also took a few minutes out of his morning to hit golf balls at the ESPN crew.

After Murray delighted the crowd of students on hand by telling ESPN's Chris Fowler that he was tipping Clemson to win, co-panelist Lee Corso returned to the set to make his weekly selection. To the likely disappointment of those hoping to bring an end to Native American caricatures in sports and to the clear displeasure of those students, Corso was dressed as Florida State mascot Chief Osceola. To the likely amusement of those hoping to bring an end to Native American caricatures in sports and the clear pleasure of those students, Murray body slammed Corso.
