'Long Island Medium': Mother, Daughter Connect With Husband/Father

Teri and her daughter Ashley drove six hours to have a one-on-one reading with Theresa Caputo on the latest episode of "Long Island Medium." They were hoping to connect with Steve, Teri's husband and Ashley's dad. Steve tragically passed away just one month before his second child, Aubrey, was born. He died in a freak accident on a construction site -- he was electrocuted in his concrete conveyor truck.

“I miss my dad very, very much," Ashley said.

“You didn’t think your dad knew about Aubrey, right? Please know that this is his way of acknowledging that he does know about her," Theresa told her.

“Her memories are our memories, they’re not her memories," Teri said of her second daughter. "She needs to know that she has a daddy. He’s just not here.”

“He says, ‘And that is what today is about,'" Theresa said. "It’s about you knowing that no matter that you do in your life, your father will be with you in spirit, but more importantly that he’s very proud of you.”

It was an emotional and healing reading for the pair, something that TLC is offering to all of its viewers. Fans can enter for a chance to win a reading with Theresa by answering the weekly trivia question on TLC.com.
