"Parks And Recreation" is leaving NBC's schedule for three weeks, but don't fret, it will return. NBC announced a big scheduling shift that starts this Thursday, Oct. 24.
In the place of "Parks" on Thursday, NBC will air an episode of "The Voice" starting at 8 p.m. ET. Next Thursday, "Parks And Rec's" Halloween episode will be bumped for a "Saturday Night Live" Halloween special and on Thursday, Nov. 7, a live episode of "The Voice" will air at 8 p.m. ET.
Last week, NBC canceled "Welcome to the Family," which aired after "Parks" at 8:30 p.m. ET.
TVLine reports NBC will air back-to-back episodes of "Parks And Recreation" on Thursday, Nov. 14 and 21. Vulture reports after the two weeks of back-to-back episodes, "Parks" will be gone until early 2014 when it moves to Thursdays, 8:30 p.m. after "Community."
