Alec Baldwin will not donate to political candidates while he hosts his MSNBC show, a spokesman for the actor confirmed on Friday.
Baldwin is now hosting "Up Late," a weekly talk show, for the network. He is, of course, very politically outspoken, and has been generous with his checkbook in the past.

MSNBC has a strict no-donations policy for all of its hosts. It famously suspended both Keith Olbermann and Joe Scarborough for giving money to candidates.
On Thursday, Mediaite wondered whether or not Baldwin would be held to this standard.
The answer, according to representatives for both MSNBC and Baldwin, is yes: the network's position has not changed, and Baldwin is following the rules.
