Hawaii Anti-Gay Radio Ad Makes Shocking Claims About Same-Sex Marriage

LISTEN: Gay Marriage Will Lead To 'Bisexual Marriage,' Right-Wing Ad Claims

As Hawaii inches closer to becoming the fifteenth state to legalize same-sex marriage, conservative pundits are fighting back -- though not very effectively.

A new ad sponsored by the Hawaii Republican Assembly is currently playing on radios statewide, and making some pretty radical claims about the future of humanity if same-sex marriage is institutionalized as law.

The ad tells listeners that gay marriage is "merely a stepping stone to have government forcibly legitimize and normalize all sorts of deviant behavior. Terrible consequences will affect everyone and everything imaginable forever."

Is it just us, or does that seem a tad bit dramatic? However, it's only when you realize that the ad is also claiming that churches will be forced to marry gay couples, and local business owners will be forced to violate their faith that the fear mongering really becomes apparent.

Also, apparently "bisexual marriage is right around the corner."

We're still trying to figure out exactly what that is.
