It's going to be a wet Halloween, Chicago.

After more than 2 inches of rain fell overnight, some minor flooding was reported on area roadways, causing two ramps to be closed on the Kennedy (northbound 94 to eastbound 147th Street, southbound 94 to westbound 130th Street) Thursday morning, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The slick, wet road conditions also caused a number of crashes in the area, including a number of cars on the Stevenson that hydroplaned and slammed into barricades, ABC Chicago reports.

The rain is expected to continue on and off throughout the day, bringing at least another 2 inches by the early evening, according to NBC Chicago, when trick-or-treaters will be hitting the streets.

There is also a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon, the National Weather Service told the Chicago Sun-Times.

Flight delays on account of the stormy weather are also possible through Friday, according to AccuWeather.
