Bronx Shooting Video Shows Gunman Firing Point-Blank Shots, Children Skipping Nearby

Police are searching for the suspect who opened fire at a 27-year-old man in the Edenwald section of the Bronx on Saturday.

A surveillance video shows the gunman walking up to the victim and firing several point-blank shots.

Before the shots were fired, two small children can be seen skipping on the sidewalk. When the bullets start to fly, they run away.

ABC reports the victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital where he is in stable condition. Police say he's been uncooperative because he apparently knows the gunman.

Officials say the suspect is a black male and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, and red sneakers.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
