Are you moving into a new home? Martha Stewart has one big piece of advice for you: pack yourself if you can!
Martha stresses the importance of packing your belongings yourself rather than hiring someone for a sense of personal organization. Also, instead of cardboard boxes, buy inexpensive plastic bins and label them. "They don't get wet, they don't collapse and they don't crush!" Martha says.
Also, place alike things in alike containers and label them clearly, then hire professionals to safely move the larger items and furniture.
