How The F_Email Program Is Helping Women In STEM

This post is part of a series sponsored by Cisco and its partners promoting women in STEM. Check out more stories about women in STEM here. Find out even more on HuffPost ImpactX, where people, technology, and social impact converge.

An innovative, all-female technology program at the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, in Serbia is giving women the confidence and skills to pursue their dreams. As the information and communications technology (ICT) sector expands, opportunities for women will increase and their talent will play a key role in the continuing development of the post-war economy in Serbia.

The F_Email Project brings together the Cisco Networking Academy curriculum and instruction of soft skills development to a diverse group of women, who have previously not been able to find work, to become sought-after ICT professionals. See the slideshow below to learn more about the program and its talented participants.
