A student was reportedly shot Wednesday afternoon at West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Fla., according to a school spokesperson.
Jamorian Eddie Bell, 17, allegedly shot 15-year-old Jerodrick Smith near a soccer field at around 1:10 p.m., WKMG 6 reported. Smith is in stable condition.
A student told the Orlando Sentinel that the shooting happened after a fight broke out at the end of the day.
Student Kaitlyn Hawkins told the Sentinel that the shooter was a boy who had been suspended from school, but she didn't know his name.

Bell initially fled, but was taken into police custody at about 3:40 p.m., about four miles away from the school, according to WESH.
Students were taken by bus to a neighboring high school where their parents could pick them up.
