One Direction Posts Video For Claire Davis, Arapahoe High School Shooting Victim

One Direction Posts Message To School Shooting Victim

For the past week, one of Denver's top hashtags on Twitter has been #get1DtoClaire.

On Thursday, the boy band One Direction responded by uploading a message of support to 17-year-old Claire Davis, who was critically injured in the Arapahoe High School shooting on Dec. 13 (Watch their video above).

Ever since the news broke that Davis was left in a coma after being shot at point-blank range by a classmate, thousands across the country have been lobbying on her behalf to get one of her favorite bands, One Direction, to her hospital bedside.

Two days after the shooting, the hashtag was trending worldwide and even Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin, who's from Colorado, tweeted to help:

And "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" actress Anna Sophia Robb:

"She is stable, but is in a coma. The first responders got Claire to the right place, at the right time, and the doctors and hospital staff are doing a wonderful job taking care of her," Davis' family said in an earlier statement.

Students were able to return to the high school to collect their belongings on Thursday, but school won't begin again until 2014.
