Kyle Nutt And Zade Abdullah, Illinois Teenagers, Dress Up As Superheroes To Perform Acts Of Kindness For Strangers (VIDEO)

It takes a lot of courage to publicly dress up in capes and spandex tights -- especially if you're a teenage boy. But two young men from Illinois did it anyway, all in the name of kindness.

Kyle Nutt and Zade Abdullah, both 16, dressed up as superheroes and spent a week going around Dixon, Ill., to perform random acts of kindness for strangers, according to HLN.

The duo is known for sharing funny videos on their YouTube channel, HiddenReaction. But this time, they decided to take a different, kinder route.

"We can be good and do good in the community and make the world a better place," Abdullah told HLN.

From purchasing items at Walmart for a woman short on money, to buying a homeless man groceries, the superheroes spread kindness and encourage others to do the same.

"All we're asking you to do," the video says, "is when you see an opportunity to do good, take it."
