"In my book, I have a complete pantry list. If you have your pantry set, you’ll be ready for the week," said Ellie. The first item she always has in her fridge: pre-washed greens like arugula, spinach or kale. These greens are low-maintenance and can add a dose of freshness to just about any dish, from pasta sauce to soups.
The next must-have food item: no salt-added, non-perishables like canned tomatoes or various beans.
Finally: Ellie loves to keep whole grains in her pantry. "Whole grain, quick-cooking quinoa is great," she told us.
