Daft Punk Album Of The Year At 2014 Grammy Awards: Duo Wins For 'Random Access Memories'

"Random Access Memories" by Daft Punk won album of the year, beating out Sara Bareilles' "The Blessed Unrest," Kendrick Lamar's "Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City," Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "The Heist" and Taylor Swift's "Red."

Daft Punk was also nominated in five other categories, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The group also took home awards for Record Of The Year, Best Dance/Electronica Album as well as Best Engineered Album in addition to Album Of The Year. Dressed as friendly-looking storm troopers, the duo accepted each award in silence.

In the past, Daft Punk has won both Best Dance Recording (2008) and Best Electronic / Dance Album (2007).

The 56th annual Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles on Jan. 26 at a ceremony hosted by LL Cool J.
