U2 debuted new music during Sunday's Super Bowl, teaming up with Bank of America and the (RED) foundation for the release of the single "Invisible."
The track, which has Bono crooning, "I’m more than you know / I’m more than you see here / More than you let me be / I’m more than you know / A body in a soul," is available for free download through iTunes until 11:59p.m. EST on Monday, Feb. 3. For each free download of the song, Bank of America will donate $1 to (RED) through the Global Fund to "support and fund prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS."
U2 is scheduled to release a new album later this year, but it won't be led by "Invisible."
"We have another song we're excited about to kick off the album," Bono said in a recent interview with USA Today. "This is just sort of a sneak preview -- to remind people we exist."
As to when fans can expect the Grammy-winning group's latest project, Bono said the album is still in production "for a couple of months. We want it to come out this summer, but you don't want to let anyone down."
