After struggling with heart health, actress and comedian Rosie O'Donnell has made some serious changes to her lifestyle and diet. She shared some of those changes with us.
When it comes to portion control, Rosie has cut her portion sizes in half. When asked if that was a difficult transition, she simply said, “It’s not hard. When they tell you that you’re going to die, it changes something.”
For snacks, Rosie stocks up on protein, and she avoids sugar and most meat, focusing on fish and chicken instead. She’s experimented with both vegan and vegetarian diets, “but I felt like I was being punished,” she told us.
