How To Curb Cravings, From Rosie O'Donnell (VIDEO)

When it comes to curbing cravings, actress and comedian Rosie O'Donnell has made some serious changes to her habits and lifestyle since surviving a nearly fatal heart attack in 2012. She shared some excellent tips with us.

“It’s about portion and mindfulness,” she advised us. She’ll still eat carbs now occasionally, but she is much more mindful of portion control, making sure to eat each food group in moderation.

“If I want a candy bar, sometimes I’ll just take a bite. Don’t deny yourself,” she said, “But don’t eat more than you need.” Rosie says that according to doctors, hunger cravings pass in two minutes, so she focuses on other tasks to keep herself busy until her cravings pass.
