Mizzou fans showed their support All-American defensive lineman Michael Sam in amazing fashion on Monday. A day after Sam publicly came out as gay, his alma mater spelled added the letters "S" and "A" next to the giant "M" in the end zone of the snow-covered Faurot Field in Columbia, Missouri.

Sam, who is eligible for the 2014 NFL Draft is poised to become the NFL's first openly gay player, came out to his teammates during a preseason football practice before the Tigers' 2013 season in which they went 12-2 and won the Cotton Bowl. Despite his sexuality being common knowledge and his teammates and coaches, he did not speak publicly about it until Sunday.

A snow tribute is the best kind of tribute.
