'Tammy' Trailer Is Melissa McCarthy's 'Gangsta's Paradise'

Melissa McCarthy Goes Gangsta For 'Tammy'

Melissa McCarthy is in a "Gangsta's Paradise" in the new trailer to the upcoming movie "Tammy." The funny woman is shown in the clip dancing to the Coolio song in Crocs and a t-shirt that reads "Mahalo," with a paper bag on her head and one on her hand. She amateurishly robs a fast food joint of its cash and pies by disguising her finger gun as a real gun in the paper bag.

Directed by McCarthy's husband, Ben Falcone ("Bridesmaids"), "Tammy" stars McCarthy as a woman who has recently learned that her husband is a cheater, and turns to her alcohol-loving grandmother, played by Susan Sarandon, for support and adventures. Hitting theaters on July 2, "Tammy" also stars Dan Aykroyd, Allison Janney and Kathy Bates. Take a look at the trailer below.
