Sure, you can hang out on the beach in your bikini, walk along a boardwalk, go for a dip or even surf. Or, you can go for a really, really, really long walk.
Here are eleven beaches where you can show your bikini bod for miles and miles.
Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh
The world's longest uninterrupted beach clocks in at 75 miles long (though others say it's a bit shorter). Regardless, the government is focusing on drawing more and more tourists fast, so go before it gets crazy.
Ninety Mile Beach, Australia
Yup, you guessed it. This beach is 90 miles long. It's popular with dolphin and whale watchers, fishermen and swimmers alike.
Padre Island National Seashore, Texas
Off south Texas sits some beautiful stretches of beach that go for some 70 miles.
Playa Novillero, Mexico
Sign us up. This beach is 56 miles long, a third of a mile wide and water that's shallow enough that you can walk about 330 feet into the water.

Ninety Mile Beach, New Zealand
Unlike its neighbor to the west, this beach, on the North Island, is really only about 55 miles long.
Virginia Beach, Virginia
This East Coast city has 35 miles of beaches and a lot of tourists to show for it.
Long Beach, Washington
At 28 miles long, this claims to be America's longest contiguous beach.

Muizenberg, South Africa
The town of Muizenberg, a suburb of Cape Town, marks the start of a roughly 25-mile beach that curves around to nearby False Bay. Beware, there have been shark sightings in the past.
Stockton Beach, Australia
Not only is this beach long (nearly 20 miles long), but it's popular with dune surfers, 4-wheel drive enthusiasts and surfers.
Marina Beach, Chennai, India
At around 8 miles long, it's the longest urban beach in India. There's a bit of an undertow, so swimming isn't as popular as hanging out and shopping.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this story stated that Padre Island National Seashore and South Padre Island were connected.
