Beating Mario With The Lowest Possible Score Is Harder Than You Think

If your gaming crown-and-glory is that you always manage to be the worst player in the room, this is going to disappoint you.

YouTube user Not Entirely Sure has been working very hard at beating Mario... with the lowest possible score: 500 points.

Think that's an easy feat? Think again. Imagine completing a game of "Super Mario Bros." without jumping on any enemies, collecting any coins, or doing extra challenges besides getting from one end of the level to the other.

Yeah, not so simple now, is it?

But Not Entirely Sure has a nearly perfect mediocre game, with only one regrettable death by wall jump (at about the 3:15 mark in the video above). The user had previously managed to beat the game with only 600 points and no deaths.

Moral of the story: Work on getting better at sucking at video games.
