NBC gave new sitcom "About a Boy" a preview after the network’s Sochi Winter Olympics coverage Saturday night. The results? Tough to judge.
It was a Saturday — a night typically devoid of original scripted programming on broadcast. Plus "Boy" aired at 11:05 p.m., well outside of prime-time. Both factors normally would significantly decrease performance expectations. Yet the sitcom aired after the Olympics, so that would typically increase expectations.
