Here's A Beautiful Reminder That The Highs And Lows Of Love Are Worth Riding Out

When couple Hinda Schuman and Susan Toler separated a few years back, they separated for good.

They had hit a real rough patch, and split "was very clearly a permanent separation," Toler recalls. "It wasn't just, 'we'll just do this temporarily.' We were really finished."

Except they weren't. Their separation lasted eight months and the couple tied the knot on February 22.

In the video above, the couple of 32 years recounts falling in love in the summer of 1981 ("I just found her fascinating and beautiful and I just wanted to spend a lot of time with her," Schuman remembers), falling out of love years later, and the simple email that led them back together after their not-so-permanent separation.
