Pablo Schreiber Is Officially Returning To 'Law & Order: SVU'

Is Pablo Schreiber Coming Back For Benson On 'SVU'?

We all thought Pablo Schreiber's William Lewis, aka Olivia Benson's attacker, was behind bars for good on "Law & Order: SVU," but no villain stays away for too long.

Although Lewis got sentenced to prison at the very end of the midseason premiere, "Psycho/Therapist," we see a flash forward of him being rushed out of prison as he has a (possibly fake) seizure. It seemed pretty likely that Lewis would return to "SVU" this season and Entertainment Weekly has just confirmed the news.

In an episode airing on April 9, "Beast's Obsession," Lewis holds a 12-year-old girl hostage to try to lure Olivia back to him. "SVU" showrunner Warren Leight told E! News, "He's figured a way out and there's only one thing he's interested in and that's a last dance with Olivia Benson."

According to EW, the "SVU" squad will be pushed to take drastic measures to stop Lewis -- could this mean someone may end up killing Lewis? We know how things ended the last time a "SVU" detective shot and killed a perp (we miss you, Elliot), so we're hoping history doesn't repeat itself.

Schreiber also tweeted a photo on Tuesday, March 11, when he landed in New York with #HideBenson. We're already freaking out.
