Where The Honeymooners Are

That first vacation as husband and wife (or husband and husband, wife and wife, etc.) is an important one.

Not for any life-shattering reason, but more so because those months of decisions and plans and stress (oh my!) are over. Now you bask in the glory of wedded bliss.

Jetsetter.com took a look at some booking data and spotted some of the trends these newly-bound-by-law, happy couples are following. The average pair is spending $4,183 on accommodations, and the majority of couples that are fleeing the country for their honeymoon are headed to the Caribbean. For those honeymooners who aren't looking to use their passports, Hawaii wins as the most popular American destination.
