"How I Met Your Mother" ends its nine season-run on March 31, and fans will have to say goodbye to Ted, Lily, Barney, Robin and Marshall. But they'll also have to bid adieu to the show's memorable running gags, recurring catchphrases and long cons.

Show creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas cultivated dozens of running jokes that have now become ingrained in pop culture. Frat bros around the world can be heard yelling, "It's going to be legen-WAIT-FOR-IT-dary!" and "Suit up!" and it's hard to walk past a pair of red cowboy boots without wanting to say, "Pulling them off." Slap bets and bro codes extend far beyond the "How I Met Your Mother" universe and even though we don't know the full extend of the Pineapple Incident (yet), true fans will know every word to Robin Sparkles' "Let's Go To The Mall."

Below, are the top 31 "How I Met Your Mother" running gags, ranked in order of least to most memorable. Disagree? Sound off in the comments, but you may be majorly wrong (Major Leewrong).
