Lauren Conrad has come quite a long way from her "Laguna Beach" days. Not only is she a best-selling author and a successful business owner, she also has one of the most enviable Instagram accounts ever.
Now, the 28-year-old has another title under her belt -- she is Allure's April cover star! Conrad, who the mag calls "the girliest girl's girl" looks more grown up than ever with her bold, smokey eye and smoldering stare.
Inside the glossy, which hits newsstands March 31, the former reality star dishes on her decorating style, what beds are really for and how she achieves that perfect California style:
"Take any trend you want and relax it. That's how California does it. If it's silk button-up shirts that are in, you probably don't button them all the way, and you cuff a sleeve, you know what I mean? It's almost like how your outfit looks at the end of the day."
Even though she favors a laid back look, she also admits her affinity for at least one glamorous accessory -- hair extensions. "I can't remember the last time I didn't have extensions. Extensions are great. And they've come so far in the last few years," she told the magazine.
