When it comes to deciding between Apple TV and Roku, Wall Street Journal Personal Technology Columnist Joanna Stern had some excellent advice to share.
Both of these devices are easy to use and similar in function, as they are both used to view content like television shows, movies and music. Both Apple TV and Roku can be used to stream content from sites like Netflix or Hulu, depending on what type of content you normally watch or use.
If you are already in the Apple “ecosystem” as Joanna called it -- meaning that you already own Apple devices like a laptop, iPhone or iPod -- Apple TV may be a better choice.
