Violent Weekend Continues In Chicago

At least 18 people were shot, two fatally, in shootings across Chicago Saturday afternoon and night.

Two people were shot about 2:40 a.m. in the 6000 block of South Indiana Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side, police said. A 32-year-old man was hit in the upper chest and died at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. A 27-year-old woman was also hit in the leg. Both were taken to Stroger hospital.
