Frustrated? Pay To Break Stuff

It's tax season, and a new business in Boise, Idaho, is banking on customers' frustrations. Or so they say.

At Das Breakroom, you can pay to break junk: windows, keyboards, cell phones. Sure, it looks like mindless violence, but some customers say it's therapeutic.

"I was having a horrible week, and I found myself on the verge of tears," customer Lindsey Shultz told KBOI. "I was just pacing back and forth, like, 'What am I going to do? I'm so frustrated right now,' and I walked here and broke an entire box of stuff, and 10 minutes later, I felt perfect, fine."

Sounds novel, but Das Breakroom isn't the first place to adopt a cash-for-smash business model. Similar venues have popped up in Texas and San Diego over the years.
