Michael Strahan Makes 'GMA' Debut

Michael Strahan premiered as the newest correspondent on "Good Morning America" Wednesday.

He joined Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Lara Spencer at the anchor desk. Strahan visited "GMA" earlier this month to confirm that he was joining the morning show in a part-time role, while continuing to host "Live!" with Kelly Ripa. The news came after Josh Elliott's departure to NBC Sports. Amy Robach and Spencer were also promoted to co-hosts of "GMA" following the shakeup.

Roberts introduced Strahan on Wednesday, joking, "America, our company softball team just got a lot better!" Strahan proceeded to give the top five reasons he is excited to join "GMA." Watch in the clip above.
