This Doughnut Shop Worker Deserves A Raise

I got control of what gets printed on receipts at the donut shop where I work.

Reddit user buckwheatwaffle paid a noble homage to Mitch Hedberg by printing the late comedian's classic doughnut bit on a receipt at the doughnut shop where the Redditor works.

"My boss actually found it hilarious," buckwheatwaffle wrote in the thread, "which is why my job is awesome."

Hedberg, who died of a reported drug overdose in March 2005, was known for his offbeat standup style, a mix of one-line jokes and comical, if absurd, anecdotes.

We reached out to buckwheatwaffle to tell us more about the episode, but unfortunately haven't heard back.
