Fox Host Calls George Clooney Gay, But He Was Only Kidding, Guys!

Fox News might want to give their hosts a refresher on the meaning of a joke.

During Monday's episode of "The Five," Fox News' Eric Bolling decided to comment on George Clooney's sexuality following reports that the 52-year-old got engaged to human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin.

"It's clear, though, George Clooney's gay," Bolling said. "Now, let me explain. For all the ladies out there who think he's amazing, just admit it. He's either gay or he's married, just get over it. Move on. There's gotta be someone else."

Although the conversation shifted after the befuddling statement, Bolling backtracked in order to clarify.

"They want me to make sure I point out that I was kidding about Clooney [being] either gay or married so he's off the market, so stop dreaming about George Clooney. That was the point," he said.

Later on in the show, Bolling had to clarify the clarification. (Even his co-host said she "didn't get it.")

"I was kidding about the George Clooney thing. He's married. He's off the market. That's all. That's all I have to say," he said, holding up his hands and shaking his head.

Good one.
