It's already a big day for Eric Ebron.
The University of North Carolina alum is set to be picked in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft. But he had one thing to do before possibly receiving some career-changing news Thursday: take a knee atop the Empire State Building in New York City and propose to his girlfriend.
The 21-year-old took to Instagram to share the moment he put a ring on Brittany Rountree's finger.
Gillette, the company behind the NFL.com's "Pressure Point" series -- which Ebron has appeared in -- also shared the news on Twitter.

Ebron and his new fiancee met at North Carolina, where Rountree is currently a junior and plays guard on the UNC women's basketball team.
Though the tight end may be anxious for the draft Thursday night, it seems he was more nervous for the proposal.
Ebron proposed to his girlfriend of 2 years a few minutes ago. "A ball of nerves," he said. Bought the ring a week ago. "What better way?"
