It's the most wonderful time of the year, for celebs at least.
And no, we don't mean the Met Gala (although it's a pretty close second), we mean the International Cannes Film Festival, where stars from all over the world flock to southern France to celebrate film and, of course, fashion.
But not all the reviews can be positive (for the movies OR the dresses) on Day One.
Nicole Kidman started out the day on a high note in an all-white Altazurra dress, but later shocked us with her ability to hold up a heavy-looking Armani Privé. Blake Lively wowed us in a red Gucci number and Karlie Kloss kind of looked like she stepped out of an ad for her beloved Victoria's Secret in Valentino.
