Spelling Bee Contestant Jacob Williamson REALLY Thought He Knew The Answer (VIDEO)

WATCH: Spelling Bee Contestant Has Spectacular Reaction To Wrong Answer

Sorry, Jacob Williamson, but that answer is incorrect.

After the 15-year-old contestant was given the word "kabaragoya" during the 10th round of the championship finals of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, he confidently declared "I KNOW IT. I know it. I totally know it."

Unfortunately, he did not know how to spell the word. But that didn't keep the Florida teen from reacting in spectacular fashion.

After studying for eight hours a day since March in order to qualify for the national contest, it's no wonder the 15-year-old took the loss so hard.

"I thought I knew that word, but I guess I didn't," he told reporters later. "It was a lot of fun, I got a lot of fun out of it. I'm going to go home and remember this always."

Jacob may have lost the spelling bee -- Sriram Hathwar, of New York, and Ansun Sujoe, of Texas, share the crown -- but he still became a standout in the competition for his over-the-top reactions.

He definitely won our hearts.
