The Trailer For 'Sharknado 2' Is 'Bigger, Bolder And Even More Ridiculous' Than You Imagined

Get Your Chainsaws Ready, Here Comes 'Sharknado 2'

Syfy is taking a bite out of the Big Apple.

The network just debuted its deliciously horrible sequel to last year's hit disaster flick "Sharknado," but if you thought the CGI effects -- or the acting -- would get any better the second time around, you were sorely mistaken. The film follows chainsaw-wielding heroes Fin and April as they head to Manhattan to try to save the city from another deadly weather system with a penchant for spouting out the ocean's meanest predators -- because apparently Tara Reid and that guy from "90210" are the only ones capable of handling the giant beasts of the sea.

From sharks circling submerged taxis, to poor Citibikers getting squashed, the second film promises even more over-the-top acting and absurdity than the first. Which is just what we've come to love about Syfy original movies.
