Jesse McCartney's Words To Fans Getting Tattoos Of His Face: 'Be Careful'

Jesse McCartney's flattered by fans expressing their appreciation with body art of his face, but he hopes that they'll at least think twice before making such a commitment.

"All I can say is, let's not get carried away guys," he told HuffPost Live's Caitlyn Becker in an appearance to promote his new album "In Technicolor." "You might regret this in 10 or 15 years. I'm just telling you now."

"I love you and I love your support," he continued, addressing his fans. "It's overwhelmingly gratifying, but just be careful because you might look at it in a decade and be like, 'oh, is it really smart to get a picture of his face?'"

McCartney saw more than a few fans with tattoos of his face while on tour with the Backstreet Boys, he recounted.

"I actually started an Instagram hashtag that was called 'Fans With Tattoos' because you wouldn't believe how many there actually were," he said.

"It's very sweet. I know they're just trying to show their love and support."
