The man of your nightmares is back.

Robert Englund, the original Freddy Krueger from the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” franchise, will be donning the slasher’s makeup, costume and claw one last time at a Chicago horror convention on Aug. 8 so that both he and fans can say goodbye.

According to the convention's website, Englund will appear as Krueger at “Flashback Weekend” in full makeup done by FX master artist Robert Kurtzman, who worked on the other films. Fans can have their picture taken with a fully made-up Englund if they purchase the “Robert Englund ‘Freddy Krueger’ Makeup Photo-op Package” for $365. The package grants buyers access to the convention’s events and one photo with the man himself.

As many fans know, the “Elm Street” movie franchise was rebooted in 2010 with Jackie Earle Haley taking on the role of Freddy Krueger. This effectively ended Englund’s eight-movie run as the man of nightmares.

Those in charge of the event are calling this Englund's last appearance as the character that made him famous. Interested fans can purchase tickets at the Flash Back Weekend’s website.
