Someone is in trouble today at BBC News after two faulty push notifications were sent out through the mobile app.

The alerts highlighted "nudity" in the Game of Thrones and the NYPD hashtag hijacking story from April, labeling the stories as "BREAKING NEWS." The clearest sign that the notifications were likely due to a staffer gaffe was the last line, which read, "IIIIIII like testing."
BBC News eventually sent another push alert apologizing for the erroneous notifications, and confirmed via Twitter that the account had not been hacked:
We apologise for previous two test push notifications which were sent in error to BBC News app subscribers

Re two incorrect @BBCNews push notifications sent earlier. This was result of a testing error. The account has not been hacked.
