The Belgians are coming.

Belgium defeated South Korea 1-0 to seal the top spot in Group H and set a date a with the United States in the Round of 16 at the 2014 World Cup. The young Red Devils wrapped up a 3-0 run through the group stage at Arena Corinthians in Sao Paulo on Thursday despite being reduced to 10 men when midfielder Steven Defour picked up a red card just before halftime.

South Korea, who needed a win to have any chance of advancing, proved unable to convert its man advantage into a goal. In the 77th minute, Belgium defender Jan Vertonghen scored on a rebound to produce the only goal of the encounter.

Vertonghen's game-winning goal continued the trend of late strikes by Belgium. All four of its group-stage goals came in the 70th minute or later. As the winner of Group H, Belgium is set to face the U.S. team, the runner-up in Group G, on Tuesday, July 1st at Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador.
