Talk about bad timing.

Lionel Messi was not in the locker room with his teammates celebrating after Argentina clinched a spot in the World Cup final with a victory over the Netherlands. Instead, the soccer star was taking a mandatory drug test. The 27-year-old took to Instagram to express his feelings after the win.

Here's the note Messi wrote with the photo, translated by 101 Great Goals: "I've been called for doping control and I can't be enjoying the moment in the dressing room. I feel proud to be part of this team! Phenomenons every one of them! What a game they had. This is crazy. We're in the final! Let's enjoy this, a hug to all of Argentina, we have just one step left."
