Ridley Scott is planning yet another Bible-based epic. The director of "Exodus: Gods And Kings" has plans to write "David," reportedly centering on his post-Goliath reign as King of Israel.

Variety reports that Scott will team up with "Exodus" writer Jonathan Stokes, adding that the film will be a "large-scale undertaking."

Scott is supposedly still deciding what will be his next project, as he is slated to work on both the next installment of "Prometheus" as well as "Martian" (starring Matt Damon). It is undecided whether he would direct or just produce "David."

As SlashFilm notes, it could be years until we see this next biblical epic. At the moment, "David" is only a working title. To help speed things along, may we kindly suggest "King Of Israel," "That David Part From The Book Of Samuel" or "Not Goliath."
