Pit bulls get a bad reputation, but the truth is they're just like any dog -- aggressive when raised by harsh and distressing owners, but sweet as pie when they're loved and cared for.
In the video above, HuffPost Live's Caitlyn Becker meets a pooch who is the perfect example of the difference a happy home makes. Brooklyn the pit bull had terrible owners who abused both their dogs and their children, which left Brooklyn with a stab wound and an intense fear of men. But once he found his way to a safe foster home, the difference was incredible.
