Scream queen Marilyn Burns, who starred in the original 1974 "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" has died at the age of 65, reports TMZ.
A rep for the actress told the website that she was found on Aug. 5 by a family member in Houston, adding that the cause of death is still unknown.
Burns' character famously survived Leatherface in the first "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" movie and went on to make cameos in the 1994 and 2013 sequels. She also appeared in other horror films such as "Eaten Alive," and the TV mini-series "Helter Skelter."
