Shark Week is officially over (well, at least for most of us) and it was a Sharknado-storm of mixed emotions. It brought us some definite bullsh*t, but at times, it really did reawaken our love for the magnificent beasts of the sea.

So, in honor of our favorite apex predators, we wanted to find out:

Which Shark Rules The Sea?

While we wish we could include all 440 species of sharks in this HuffPost Deathmatch, we had to narrow it down to eight. Here's how you can vote for your favorite shark:

  • Round One voting opens Saturday, August 16 at 10 a.m., EDT.

  • Monday, August 18 at 6 a.m., EDT, Round Two opens.

  • Tuesday, August 19 at 6 a.m., EDT, Round Three opens.

  • Wednesday, August 20, we'll announce which shark is the one that rules them all.
