You Heard Right: The Ice Bucket Challenge Is Now A Halloween Costume

Yup, The Ice Bucket Challenge Is Now A Halloween Costume

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that's been taking the Internet by (very cold) storm has finally reached its climax.

That's because now you can wear it for an entire night in October for just $39.99.

The costume, sold by Brands On Sale, comes complete with a bucket, faux water film and a white tulle tunic with faux ice cubes.

Though it's pretty hokey, the getup still promotes donating to research and care for the very serious condition known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's Disease. For every costume sold, Brands On Sale will donate $10 to the ALS Foundation, and encourages their patrons to keep donating too.

"We decided to make the ALS costume to extend awareness about ALS all the way through October 31st," Brands On Sale creative director Johnathon Weeks told The Huffington Post. "Also because one of our employees had a family member who passed away from ALS."

According to Time, ice bucket challenge donations have just surpassed $50 million. That's a whole 'lotta water -- or booze, if you're Patrick Stewart -- for a very good cause.
