Jon Stewart Unveils 'Rosewater' Clips With Correspondent Jason Jones During 'The Daily Show'

Jon Stewart Unveils 'Rosewater' Clips Featuring Jason Jones

The trailer for Jon Stewart's highly anticipated directorial debut, "Rosewater," arrived on Thursday, and "The Daily Show" host marked the occasion by closing that night's episode with a pair of clips the trailer does not include.

The scenes, featuring "Daily Show" correspondent Jason Jones as himself, recreate the 2009 mock interview with Maziar Bahari (Gael Garcia Bernal) that played an unwitting role in the Iranian-Canadian journalist's detainment.

Stewart took a hiatus from "The Daily Show" last summer to film "Rosewater" in Jordan. The film will be released on Nov. 7.

(Note: Watch all the way to the end for a particularly great Moment of Zen.)

"The Daily Show" airs Monday through Thursday at 11 p.m. ET on Comedy Central.
