These Teachers' Excitement Over New School Year Will Get You In The Spirit Too

For most of us, the beginning of the school year signifies the end of lazy days by the pool and a return to structure and schedule. But for these Wisconsin teachers, it's time to cut loose.

In the video (above), posted to YouTube Aug. 27, Union Grove High School teachers Jordan Hein and Mitchell Brachmann rock out to a pro-school parody of the 1984 Kenny Loggins song "Footloose." They're super psyched for classes to start, and it looks like their enthusiasm's catching on with the kids, too.

The pair's third annual "welcome back" cover had been viewed nearly 140,000 times, as of Friday afternoon. That's almost double the views for the videos from last year and the year before, combined.

The ridiculously catchy new video also alerts viewers to Hein and Brachmann's GoFundMe page, where they hope to raise money for a variety of school projects.

If these guys can get their students half as excited about biology as they did about the start of the school year, we think grades at Union Grove are about to skyrocket.
